Dave Ramsden Tribute

September 3, 2010 - A tribute to Dave Ramsden, Secretary to Cabinet, will be held in the Great Hall of the Legislative Assembly at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2010. Dave had a long association with the North, working in Rankin Inlet, Cambridge Bay, Inuvik, Hay River and Yellowknife. His career with the GNWT included appointments as the Deputy Minister of Health and Social Services, Deputy Minister of Municipal and Community Affairs, and senior management positions with Public Works and Services and the NWT Power Corporation, as well as Secretary to Cabinet.

Memorial donations may be made to the Yellowknife Community Foundation for the David J. Ramsden Memorial Scholarship, Box 1620, 4918-50th Street, Yellowknife, NT  X1A 2P2 or to a charity of your choice. Condolences and memories may be forwarded to framsden@hotmail.ca.

Dave will be lovingly and heartily missed by family, friends and colleagues.
