Mary Beth Miller Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to Denise Ramsden and Andrew Matthews

July 16, 2010 - The Yellowknife Community Foundation was pleased to award two Mary Beth Miller Memorial Scholarships in 2010, to Denise Ramsden and Andrew Matthews both of Yellowknife.

Denise is a 19-year-old cyclist who has been named to the selection team for the 2010 World Cycling Championships". Read more about Denise in James McCarthy's article in the July 16, 2010 issue of the Yellowknifer.

Andrew is a high performance snowboarding athlete from Yellowknife. He is currently pursuing his Olympic dream and training with the Whistler Valley Snowboard Club. Check out Andrew's blog for more information.
