May 14, 2010 – The Yellowknife Community Foundation has established a fund in memory of Jonas Konge who passed away recently while waiting for a heart transplant at the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton. Jonas would have been three years old this month.

The Jonas Konge Fund will keep his memory alive in the hearts and minds of his family and the many Yellowknifers who supported him during his difficult journey. The objectives of the fund will be identified by the family in future. All donations are tax deductible. Please make cheques payable to the Yellowknife Community Foundation.
